An amazing sunset, although we were about half-an-hour out of camp and there were lion around. I thought this might have been a cool "last picture in his camera" had the lions got us!

Walking in mid-morning. The temperature was already about 35 C. You can see Nico, one of the two guides, up front. We knew we were fine if he was carrying his .457 rifle across his shoulders!

We came across this elephant on the way to the Olifants Bush Camp.

A lion track. We spent about 5 hours tracking a pair of lions, but never found them. We later found a trio, but they weren't the ones we had been tracking.
